History and Hops Tour

Located in the historic French Quarter of Downtown Charleston, this one of a kind tour will provide a valuable history lesson along with two bar stops!

"Very enjoyable. Bryan is funny and knowledgeable, and tells interesting and accurate stories. Not too much walking, no really long stops, all very well balanced. The two pubs were fabulous! Can highly recommend."

This walking tour led by Captain Bryan or Local Guide Adam Moore is not your average “sit there and shut up” tour where the guide won’t even remember your name. Rather this experience is for guests who enjoy sipping their way through an old city full of history. The licensed guide will meet guests at the initial bar establishment and receive a complimentary appetizer and the opportunity to purchase some of the areas finest beers and mixed drinks while the guide goes over the historical roots of the city. From there guests will walk the charming alleyways and cobblestone streets of Charleston to several cultural sights including a dungeon, original city theater, and 300 year old homes. A second bar will be the site of another interlude where the guide will relate stories specifically relating to the Prohibition era and its affect on the populace. At the end of the experience, guests will find themselves at a local park near the waterfront for one last exhilarating story!
